Lab Management & COVID-19 Update

Update 12/15/20

Happy Holidays!

We wish all of you and your families a safe and healthy holiday season.  As a reminder, the Environmental Services Lab will be closed for the Christmas holiday from Wednesday, 12/23 through Sunday, 12/27, we will not be able to receive any short hold time requests.  We will also be closed from Fri., 1/1/2021 to Sunday, 1/3/2021 to celebrate the New Year.

We are excited to announce that Matt Turner has taken over as the Lab Manager starting on Monday, 12/14/2020.  He is replacing Brad Barfuss who was recently promoted within Energy Northwest.  Please join me in congratulating Matt and welcoming him to the team!  Matt can be reached via email at mrturner@energy-northwest.com, or by phone at 509-377-8462.

We want to again offer our THANKS for continuing to allow the Energy Northwest Environmental Services Lab to provide your teams with high quality sample analysis and customer service as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.   We will continue to support testing requests as efficiently as possible.

To support the health and safety of our customers and staff, we are following all Federal and State recommended staffing, social distancing and mask-usage guidance.  In addition, the main lobby of the APEL building remains closed to the public.  We are still receiving samples at the Laboratory and have a cooler staged in the APEL building entrance where samples can be dropped off and where sample kits will be left for pick-up.  There is a phone on the wall in the vestibule that you can use to dial the lab extension (8058) directly for service during normal lab hours.

Please contact the lab at 509-377-8058 or Matt Turner, Environmental Services Lab Manager at 509-377-8462 to discuss your request. As always, we will also be monitoring the laboratory email account: ENVIROLAB@energy-northwest.com.
