Energy Northwest Standards Laboratory (ENSL) has been, and continues to be, instrumental in providing calibration services and support for the long-term cleanup project underway at the Hanford Nuclear Site. The project is currently the largest nuclear cleanup effort in the United States. Due to the sheer size and scope of the project, there are some very unique and challenging measurement requirements facing the engineers, scientists and technicians. ENSL provides test equipment calibration solutions, compliant with the strict requirements of NQA-1 (Nuclear Quality Assurance-1), for several contractors associated with the project, all in pursuit of the successful return of the site to its natural habitat.
