EN Labs providing Columbia Generating Station Calibration Support

Columbia Generating Station, which began delivering power to the region in 1984, is the third-largest provider of electricity in Washington. The station can provide 1,207 gross megawatts of power to the region (enough to power a city the size of Seattle), while emitting virtually no greenhouse gases or carbon emissions commonly associated with natural gas, coal and other fossil fuel powered plants. Energy Northwest Standards Laboratory is proud to be recognized as the sole provider of calibration services to Columbia Generating Station since the station’s commissioning; calibration services which comply with the strict requirements of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B (Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Power Plants and Fuel Reprocessing).
